Sophie van den Aarssen

Originally from the Netherlands, Sophie relocated to the United States to pursue her passion for tennis at the collegiate level, competing in Division 1 tennis. Upon completing her studies, she made the decision to transition into a full-time tennis coach, driven by her desire to impart her knowledge and skills to players of all ages and proficiency levels.

Sophie's journey in tennis began at the age of four, and her dedication to the sport led her to pursue a professional career during her high school years, achieving a top 20 ranking in the Netherlands. She continued her pursuit internationally until the age of 18, when she made the move to the United States. It was here, following her graduation, that she discovered her calling for coaching. Over the course of eight years, Sophie honed her coaching expertise, working with high-level junior players and college athletes before eventually returning to Scottsdale, Arizona, to further her coaching career.
